I've been tagged by Laura at http://crooksandcrazies.blogspot.com/ to participate in this meme, so here we go. I'm afraid if you're looking for waxing poetic about butterflies and lilies this won't be THAT list.
6 things that I appreciate that may, to someone else, seem unimportant, but to me are precious:
1. The sound of the dogs eating. To me when the dogs are eating, then everything is right in the world.
2. The look of those big brown eyes just begging me to keep walking.
3. A grilled steak grilled by my grill master(Steve).
4. My job, because without it I wouldn't be able to do this dog stuff.
5. Rain, rain is good for the pastures, etc.
6. All of my friends.
Now I tag the following:

Lambing is all done
As of last night we are all done with lambing 2009. One of our ewes had a girl yesterday morning and the last one lambed with a boy last night. All in all we had a total of 22 lambs with 18 surviving. We lost two right at birth with two different mothers. And then lost two that were older from two different mothers. We ended up with 11 boys and 7 girls. One girl is in our basement and has become a bottle lamb as her mother doesn't have enough milk for all three of them. The mother still has one ram lamb with her.

Still have 7 ewes left to lamb
First of the 2009 lambs
We started lambing as of Friday, April 3rd. The first set of lambs arrived around 7 pm. We had a set of twins. Above is a picture of the white ewe lamb.
On Monday, April 6th one of our ewes had four lambs. One ewe lamb did not survive. Pictured above are the three surviving lambs. Two boys and one girl. The one closest to the camera is the girl.
Here is a shot of the three lambs again.
